Important Revoked Steam Keys
It has come to our attention that a number of accounts linked to Steam have had their game keys for The Secret World revoked. This has resulted in those game accounts being closed for one of two reasons:
These unauthorized resellers are retailers that have not been approved by us to sell game keys. Generally, they buy keys in bulk through other third parties. While some of them are reputable vendors, others may have utilized fraudulent practices which will result in Steam or Funcom never receiving payment for purchases.
If your account has been closed due to making purchases from these resellers, please contact that reseller and request a refund for the charge. If this doesn't work, we suggest that you contact your financial institution and dispute the charge from the reseller. Please be careful when making purchases with digital retailers; purchasing directly from Funcom, Steam, or Origin is always suggested to help protect our customers.
For your account to be reopened, we'll need a valid product key to be added to your account. These can be purchased from us directly, Steam, or Origin. Once you have a valid game key, please contact Funcom Customer Support at http://www.thesecretworld.com/support and we'll help you as soon as possible.
