Returning Player - Survival Build Feedback
Hi All,
I started playing the TSW when Issue 5 was released but haven't played for a LONG time. I'm currently blue mountains and was using a Clearing the Path + Empowerment survival build (sword/fist). However, I noticed the build wasn't quite working like before and noticed that CtP no longer auto penetrates. So now I'm exploring a new build that I've NEVER done before and wanted to get some feedback. Is it viable, is it overkill, etc?
I'm also sure this isn't groundbreaking and has been done is some fashion before, which is why I'm hoping to get some feedback. Here's the link and I'll describe below:
http://www.badomens.net/calculator#0...aa8g2t2a9k4n00
Actives:
Blade Torrent
Forking Paths
Steel Palace
Destiny
Stunning Swirl
Anima Vessel
Where it Hurts
Passives:
Perfect Storm
Circulation
Bloodsport
Advantage Me
One in the Chamber
Leeching Frenzy
Unholy Knowledge
Concept:
Since the build is no longer relying on Penetration, I'd be switching focus to crit, frenzy & affliction. Primarily open with blade torrent to apply affliction (with perfect storm), apply leech buff (with leeching frenzy) and trigger circulation. Then move to forking paths to stack healing (which is being buffed with unholy knowledge). Then use steel palace as consumer to mitigate damage or use Where it Hurts/Anima Vessel to increase single target damage or boost healing, if needed, which also re-trigger circulation thanks to blood sport. BUild up to crit to proc One in The Chamber and Advantage me. I actually think Advantage Me could be replaced with something stronger, but not entirely sure what would fit better - Considered **** Streak
The basic idea is that you just have a ton of healing coming in and use some single target consumers to keep up damage. Possibly swap advantage me for a different passive that could help bump up DPS.
I think I'm gonna get started on this one, but would still welcome feedback as getting a couple of the skills will be pretty expensive and wanted to make sure I'm not entirely off base.
Thanks in advance for any feedback!
